The roadmap includes a 10/40 GE aggregation platforms as well as a cell site gateways. The solutions will incorporate multiple timing mechanisms including SyncE, Precision Time Protocol (PTP-1588v2), GPS and legacy clock distribution schemes, as well as provide the ability to interwork between schemes, thus allowing carriers to move from one synchronization scheme to another reliably across the network. A comprehensive set of OAM features ensures end-to-end quality of service monitoring and management. Solutions Verified by EANTC during Interoperability Test Showcase Telco Systems successfully interoperated in a number of test cases during the recent EANTC Showcase at the MPLS & Ethernet World Congress in Paris. Test areas included IEEE 1588-2008 (Precision Time Protocol), Synchronous Ethernet, Circuit Emulation, MPLS to the Access, pseudowire resiliency and performance monitoring utilizing ITU-T Y.1731.
