BATM rises on results

Telecoms network BATM Advanced is the biggest riser after shrugging off the downturn to post a 34.3% rise in interim profits as turnover hit a record.

Pre-tax profits for the period totalled $13.7m, compared with $10.2m over the same period the previous year, as revenue climbed to $69m from $65.8m.

'Despite challenging global market conditions that have continued to affect our industry, we have succeeded in growing our revenues for a 6th successive year, with outstanding cash generation,' said chief executive Zvi Marom.

GILEE Delegation

On Sunday, June 14, BATM CEO, Dr. Zvi Marom hosted a dinner for American law enforcement leaders (from Georgia, California, and Florida), who are visiting Israel for GILEE training program, headed by Dr. Robbie Friedman - Professor of criminal justice, Georgia State University.

The GILEE Program serves criminal justice executives and law enforcement officials across the states by providing educational and collaborative opportunities with senior Israeli law enforcement officials in an effort to learn more about anti-terrorism efforts and homeland security.

GILEE has teamed up with Vigilant Technology (a wholly owned subsidiary of BATM Advanced Communications) to provide access to the latest end-to-end intelligent digital video command and control.

The dinner became a tradition in the last four years and marked the continuous support of BATM in the law enforcement community.
