Telco Systems announces Lifecycle Support Program to ease Ethernet service deployment

Mansfield, MA. — May 17, 2011 — Telco Systems, a multi-service Carrier Ethernet access and demarcation solution provider, today announced a customizable support program for telecommunications service providers to assist in the design, deployment and optimization of Ethernet services. The newly launched Lifecycle Support Program provides expert support for Telco System’s field-proven Ethernet solutions as well as support for specific technologies, protocols and standards.

The Lifecycle Support Program provides a range of services for network planning and design, provisioning, monitoring, management and optimization. Specific services and support offerings include:
  • Initial Installation and Turn-up: On-site Telco Systems experts assist with first time installation and turn-up of the customer’s network. This service includes customized configuration and scripts for each Telco Systems device as well as assistance with setting up Telco Systems EdgeGenie Service Management System to simplify deployments.
  • Network Design and Planning: This service provides expert analysis of a customer’s specific requirements such as: network resiliency/protection; QoS & SLA scheme; service creation; resource management; addressing scheme; and clock synchronization. Detailed network diagrams and reports will be provided, addressing traffic types; service; SLA; configurations; and description of features and services in the suggested solution.
  • Training and Certification: Provides face-to-face, hands-on technical training for the following technologies – EdgeGenie Service Management Platform; OAM; Synchronization; Multiservice evolution and MPLS. Telco Systems experts will also provide troubleshooting techniques for all Telco Systems products.
  • Network Analysis and Optimization: Provides on-site network expertise to periodically review, analyze and fine-tune deployed Telco Systems devices. This service includes recommendations for network improvements that may offer re-commissioning current Telco Systems products, upgrading current products or upgrading to new products.
