As Senior Vice President of Sales, Dwyer is responsible for Telco Systems' direct sales force, inside sales operation and distribution channels for sales to Regional Bell Operating Companies, traditional long distance carriers, CLECs (Competitive Local Exchange Carriers), ILECs (Independent Local Exchange Carriers), IXCs (Interexchange Carriers), cable companies, next-generation carriers, VoIP, OEM and other service providers. "Tom has the experience, background and demonstrated success to continue to build on our momentum and growth in the market as we continue to enhance our TDM product lines while evolving our line of carrier-class IP products supporting advanced MPLS/HVPLS/PWE3 solutions for Metro Ethernet, as well as our VoIP, FTTH and IP/TDM convergence solutions," said Bob Resinger, Chief Operating Officer of Telco Systems. Dwyer has been with Telco Systems since 2004. Prior to his promotion to head up the Telco Systems' sales force, Dwyer was responsible for the direct sales and sales engineering team for all service providers within the BellSouth and SBC regional markets. Prior to joining Telco Systems, Dwyer held a variety of executive level sales, marketing and business development positions at companies that included the Optical Fiber Systems Group of AFL Telecommunications, Inc.; the Telecommunications Group of Thomas & Betts Corp.; Porta Systems Corp.; MarketLink, Inc.; PSI Telecommunications; and Rogers Cablesystems, Ltd.
