A shared commitment to voice quality results in end-to-end VoIP access and trunking connections producing PSTN voice quality. With the collaboration, Veraz will include Telco Systems' Access200 family of VoIP ATAs and EdgeGate CPE FTTH product line as part of their end-to-end solutions to carriers and service providers. The network and subscriber service solutions of the Veraz platform and the voice quality of Telco Systems' Access211 VoIP Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) will be demonstrated at the Veraz booth 32073 at SUPERCOMM 2005. For service providers seeking an overall turn key solution, Veraz’s recently introduced ControlSwitch Release 6.0 and the Veraz I-Gate 4000 Pro media gateway that interoperate with Telco Systems' Access200 family of VoIP ATAs, such as the Access211 and Telco Systems' EdgeGate CPE family of FTTH integrated IP media gateways. The Veraz softswitch and service delivery platform, ControlSwitch 6.0, which now features a programmable subscriber services and management subsystem, maps to numerous IMS-equivalent software elements. In addition to common residential and SOHO service sets built from customizable subscriber service building blocks, ControlSwitch 6.0 features innovative device management capabilities, including: • Dynamic Device Registration with Security • Media Negotiation for Compressed Voice, T.38 fax, Voice Band Modem • High Availability • Create, Update, and Delete IAD / Endpoint • Lock / Unlock IAD Operations • Device Audit • Device Details View Both Veraz and Telco Systems have a strong commitment towards voice quality and service transparency philosophy. The I-Gate 4000 Pro, a recognized leader in voice quality and compression, in combination with Access200 family of VoIP ATAs from Telco Systems offers superior voice quality for any type of connection (IP to PSTN IP to IP, and PSTN to PSTN) while offering bandwidth savings through voice compression. Both products also support T.38 allowing for efficient and reliable fax transmission over IP. Telco Systems' Access211 and Access200 family of VoIP ATAs utilize standard telephones and fax machines for VoIP telephone service over broadband access. The Access211 has distinguished itself in the marketplace with its superior voice quality, integrated routing capability, unique traffic shaping feature, enhanced voice compression technology and other features that make the Access211 the most robust ATA device delivered and in use today. It supports SIP, MGCP and H.323 VoIP signaling protocols. Telco Systems' EdgeGate CPE is a family of integrated FTTH IP media gateways that deliver triple-play services. The Telco Systems EdgeGate CPE supports up to 4 analog voice lines (VoIP FXS ports) and 8 10/100BaseTX Ethernet ports. An optical uplink can be configured with either a Fast or Gigabit Ethernet transceiver. The EdgeGate CPE family is well-suited for residential as well as for the small-to-medium enterprise (SME), and can be deployed indoors or outdoors. "We are extremely excited by the prospect of working in collaboration with Veraz Networks to deliver voice over broadband services and FTTH triple-play solutions to carriers and service providers who are deploying and operating next-generation communication networks," said Irit Gillath, Telco Systems' Vice President of IP Product Line Management. “Many of our Carrier Customers are looking for access equipment and devices with similar software interfaces for broadband and FTTH deployments.
