While NFV & Open Source and MPLS SDN Perspectives will be the two main topics on the agenda at the MPLS+SDN+NFV World 20016 in Paris, much attention will be given to the issue of how to secure network functions virtualization (NFV) and software-defined networks (SDN) infrastructure.
This issue will be addressed in the Security Session of the NFV & Open Source Track by Gal Ofel, Head of Software Solutions PLM at Telco Systems. Ofel will be speaking on Protecting SDN and NFV Networks from Cyber Security Vulnerabilities, on March 9th at 17:30.
In addition to Ofel’s speaking engagements, Rami Yaron, Vice President, Strategy & Business Development, North America will be sharing his knowledge and expertise on multiple session panels on Tuesday March 8th.
First, Yaron will be speaking on the topic of The LSO Reference Architecture and Framework (MPLS SDN track 1) at 14:20. The LSO Reference Architecture and Framework defines the management and control layered reference architecture and the framework that characterizes the domains and management entities required to enable cooperative LSO capabilities for connectivity services.
Immediately following this session, Yaron will moderate a panel discussion entitled: Discussion Multi-SDO interaction. How leveraging multiple organization speeds up the development of new standards (MPLS SDN track 1) at 14:55. The panel will examine the stakeholder challenges to maintaining agile, assured and orchestrated networks through collaboration.
Finally, at 16:45 on the same day, Yaron will participate in a panel discussion on: The New Collaboration. Yaron will join representatives from Broadcade, Ericsson, Noviflow and the OpenDaylight Foundation to address specific collaborations with other groups/panelists. This is a real opportunity to learn about the real challenges and opportunities from actual case studies.
Telco Systems will also be exhibiting the NFV CyberGuard solution and its Carrier Ethernet 2.0 (CE 2.0) portfolio with Layer 3 features, at the MPLS+SDN+NFV World event at Booth #310. We hope to see you there.
