Telco Systems’ Rami Yaron to talk on LSO Standardization at SDN NFV Congress 2017

Rami Yaron, VP Strategy & Business Development at Telco Systems, will hold a presentation on Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO) Standardization at the SDN NFV World Congress 2017, which will take place on 9-13 October 2017 in The Hague, Netherlands.

Yaron, who also co-chairs the MEF Global Marketing Committee, will hold a presentation on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11:35 during a special MEF seminar focused on “LSO from specification to implementation.”

The presentation, entitled “Standardizing Inter-provider & Intra-provider LSO APIs for Orchestrated Services,” will provide a progress update on LSO-related developments, and highlight opportunities for professionals to play roles in accelerating LSO work.

MEF has defined an LSO Reference Architecture with APIs to automate the entire service lifecycle for coordinated management and control across all network domains responsible for delivering end-to-end services over multiple operator /multiple technology networks.

This increasingly important area of work enables service providers to transition away from today’s silo-structured BSS/OSS approach towards flexible end-to-end service orchestration that leverages the benefits of SDN and NFV.

Yaron’s presentation will cover topics such as the LSO Reference Architecture & Framework (MEF 55), interfaces, Inter-/Intra-provider APIs, operational processes/threads, and information models, as well as LSO’s relationship with SDN & NFV.

Other speakers at the MEF LSO seminar include Dan Pitt, SVP at the MEF, Nav Chander, Service Provider Marketing Director at Silver Peak, Bartosz Michalik, Technical Architect at Amartus and Gert Vanderstraeten, Network Architect at Microsoft. Abel Tong, Director of Solutions Marketing, at Ciena, will moderate the session.

Telco Systems will present at the event at booth #C9 an open, service-ready, plug-and-play uCPE solution with zero touch hardware and VNF service deployment. The plug & play solution is optimized for high performance using low cost devices, allowing service providers to mix and match VNFs from all vendors.
