Lior Barak, Product Line manager at Telco Systems, will make a presentation on the efficient deployment of L2/L3 business services on Legacy and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) platforms at the Kapsch Technology Forum, which will take place November 10–11, 2016 in Neuss, Germany.
In his presentation, which will be held on Thursday, November 10 at 12:30 pm, Barak will unveil for the first time Telco Systems’ new fully open Carrier Grade TVE NFVi-OS solution, a virtual engine for uCPE. This innovative software-based network solution enables Tier1 telecom service providers to create an elastic, scalable, network-wide platform and an environment that operates at the pace of software, using their own hardware infrastructure.
Barak will elaborate on how Telco Systems supports all VNF applications, enabling service providers to deliver NFV-enabled IT management and security services to their enterprise customers.
Telco Systems already offers VNF applications for security, routing, SD-WAN and WAN-optimization services from leading vendors, including Check Point, AudioCodes, Palo Alto Networks and Netrounds, and has recently successfully tested additional VNF applications with Cisco, Brocade, Juniper, Silver Peak, Riverbed and Fortinet.
Barak will also explain how small and medium communication service providers can move to NFV networks by implementing Telco Systems’ hybrid network solutions.
Telco Systems CloudMetro 100, a 10GE carrier grade SDN & D-NFV platform, supports the transitioning from Carrier Ethernet 2.0 to SDN and NFV architectures. CloudMetro 100 is the first 10GE platform for virtualized IT services at the network edge, which enables service providers to transform their networks from mere transport to full IT-enabled networks – highly orchestrated, agile and virtualized.
